Sandblasting is a mechanical process for surface treatment which is based on the projection of a jet of compressed air, mixed with abrasive, on the surface of the product to be treated.
The sandblaster, which is therefore the essential tool for this treatment, can be of the mobile type, in case of work to be carried out on site, or it can be part of a manual or automatic blasting plant, when sandblasting is integral part of a production process.
